Hello everyone and Happy October!!

Please note that we will be closed on Wednesday, October 9th for training and Monday, October 14th, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

Also this year we’ll be doing another Halloween shindig on Wednesday October 30th. There will be a photo booth (otherwise there’s no picture taking in our programs), some Halloween activities and treats. Come in wearing a costume and we’ll have ourselves a good time!

On Monday, September 30, 2024 we have been wearing orange shirt lapel pins as a way of standing in solidarity with Indigenous communities and raising awareness of the lasting impact of the residential school system.

Here’s an interesting article from the CBC looking at a new study which explores the nature of a picky eater. Apparently there’s a larger genetic component than we previously thought.
