Hello Parkdale High Park EarlyON Participants!
Congratulations on reaching this point, and a big thank you for being a dedicated subscriber to our newsletter! We're aiming for a smoother experience ahead, and we appreciate your commitment to staying connected without having to sift through spam.
Despite the wet and gloomy winter, our space remains warm, dry, and inviting—making it an ideal retreat on those long, chilly days. Swing by for a visit and reconnect with your community.
As we step into February, there's much to celebrate, including Black History Month, the upcoming Lunar New Year festivities marking the Year of the Dragon, and, of course, Family Day. Please note that we'll be closed on Monday, February 19th, in observance of Family Day.
Wishing you all the best in your celebrations, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the center soon!

Consumer Safety Alert
Getting outside with your baby this winter can be beneficial to both of you.
If you plan on carrying your little one in a sling or carrier, reduce the risk of injury or suffocation:
• Make sure your baby is close enough to kiss the top of their head;
• Hug your baby close with a tight fit;
• Ensure your baby’s back is evenly supported;
• Keep their chin away from their chest;
• Keep them in view at all times & check on them often;
• Don’t zip your coat over your baby.
Be particularly careful when using a sling or carrier with babies under 4 months as their lack of neck control increases risk of suffocation.
