Hello, EarlyON Families!
Although this is February’s Newsletter, we want to acknowledge that Wednesday, January 29th, marked the beginning of the lunar calendar new year and Year of the Snake, which symbolizes good luck and rebirth. We wish everyone who celebrated a prosperous year ahead.
In Februry, people across Canada will participate and celebrate Black History Month. The events and festivities that honour the legacy, diversity and achievemement of Black people within their communities.
Also, this month, something to remember is our relationhip to everyone on Valentines Day (February 14) and Family Day (February 17). We hope you can find some time to get together as a family and to spend time with loved ones. Please remember that the centre will be closed on Monday, February 17.

Ways to Save Dollars
There is a saying that it takes 28 days to break a habit, and the same can be said about creating a new habit. It is never too late to start saving. The problem for many people is not that they don't want to save; it's that they might not have a lot to save after every paycheck. As the year started, let’s find something that we can save some dollars, that we will not even realized its there for us, when rainy days comes.
How to encourage girls to play sports
Parents are taught since they’re little kids — to never give up, even when things get hard, you fall down and you get right back up. And, obviously, that happens, but with the love of sport, they never wanted to give up.
